Preparation : | Normal mouse IgG is produced from serum of mice that have not been immunized. This IgG anitbody was purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation followed by ion exchange chromatography. This preparation can be used as a control reagent for imunoasssays using mouse monoclonal antibodies. |
Catalog #: | 500-M00 |
Source : | Mice |
Formulation : | A sterile filtered antibody solution was lyophilized from PBS. |
Stability : | The lyophilized antibody is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -200 C. The reconstituted antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-80 C. Frozen aliquots are stable for at least 6 months when stored at -200 C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
Reconstitution: | Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 1.0 mg/ml. |
Biological Activity : | Normal mouse IgG should be used in immunoassays at the same concentration as the specific mouse monoclonal antibody. It is recommended that a range of dilutions be utilized in preliminary experiments to determine optimal concentration. |
